Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website, remote online notarization, and legal-documents courier services (together, the "Service") provided by Tina & Associates Notary Firm ("Tina & Associates", "we", "us", "our"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Who you are contracting with

Your contract for the Service is with Tina & Associates Notary Firm. You confirm you are at least 18 years old, or if booking on behalf of an organization, that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. The Service

We provide commissioned notarial acts by remote online notarization, in-person mobile notarization where applicable, and courier pickup and delivery of legal documents. Appointments are typically 15 minutes unless otherwise agreed. Signers must present a valid, unexpired, government-issued photo ID and be able to appear on video for remote appointments.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading purpose.
• Present false or altered identification.
• Attempt to interfere with the security or integrity of the Service (including scraping, probing, or introducing malware).
• Infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
• Use the Service to spam or harass any person.

4. Bookings and appointment conduct

You are responsible for providing accurate booking information, arriving on time, and having your document ready in the requested format. Late arrivals of more than five minutes may cause your appointment to be canceled and rescheduled. Refunds for cancellations or issues are handled under our Refund Policy through Paddle.

5. Payment and Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment terms, billing, taxes, subscription mechanics (where applicable), cancellations, and refunds are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.

6. Intellectual property

All content, branding, software, and documentation making up the Service (excluding your documents and personal content) is owned by or licensed to Tina & Associates Notary Firm and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You receive only a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service as intended.

7. Your documents

You retain ownership of the documents you upload. You grant us a limited license to store, transmit, and process them solely to provide the Service, comply with law, and maintain required notarial records.

8. Service level and disclaimers

We aim to provide a reliable Service but do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is capped at the fees paid by you to Paddle for the Service in the six (6) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where such limitation is prohibited by law.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. The courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under your local law.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
